Sandra Alexander

Sandra is a highly motivated training and development professional with over 20 years of experience in the Travel and Aviation industries. She decided to start her own company with a goal to deliver the highest standards of training and learning whilst continuing to push the boundaries of learning and support.

Sandra says: “I am proud to work as part of this team that is continually developing and growing. We are privileged to have delivered training to a wide variety of valued clients in the UK and across the globe.”

Sandra is a CAA CIN qualified trainer for Aviation Security, experienced in the delivery of Aircrew. Aircraft search, Regulated Agent, Known Consignor and GSAT courses.

She is also an experienced instructional designer and is skilled in the use of Camtasia, Captivate, Articulate and a wide variety of Learning Management Systems.



Paul Horner

Dangerous Goods Safety Group (UK) Ltd was formed in April 2019 by Paul and Lisa Horner. Dangerous Goods Safety Group provides a wealth of experience and knowledge gained from working in education, IATA, fast parcel and airline operations.

Dangerous Goods Safety Group provides an innovative approach to dangerous good transport safety and compliance through training, consultancy, risk assessments and compliance audits for all modes of transport. Our team have vast experience in the complex supply chain for the carriage of dangerous goods by road, sea and air. Our unique and personalised approach to dangerous goods compliance for the complete supply chain ensures our customers are offered training that suits their needs. We continually adjust to regulatory changes and have an innovative approach for the benefit of our customers.

Before we deliver any form of training, we like to gauge the types of work needed by working with our clients. Our consultancy services do not just happen over the phone; we also like to visit your premises to help discuss ways of improving your business. We are happy to consult about any aspect of the supply chain and our experienced consultants can work with you to develop processes and procedures.

Paul worked for IATA from January 2016 to March 2019 as the Manager, Dangerous Goods Standards. The role included: authoring the text for the IATA dangerous goods regulations and other technical publications; answering technical email enquiries through a dedicated hotline; working with the IATA Dangerous Goods Board; attending ICAO and UN dangerous goods meetings; supporting industry events; and acting as a subject matter expert for the Association. Paul has also attended several SAE G27 lithium battery package performance standards meetings, the outcome of which has potentially significant consequences for lithium battery shippers.

Paul previously spent 18 years working for DHL Aviation in the UK as the Dangerous Goods Manager and DGSA. He was also a founding committee member of the British Association of Dangerous Goods Professionals (BADGP). Paul began his career with dangerous goods as a Movement Controller in the British Army.

Paola Luciano-Marshall

Paola is an enthusiastic, self-motivated and dynamic person. Whilst studying, she started working in a small travel agency and… ‘got hooked’ by the travel industry!

Despite graduating from University College London in Geophysics, travel and aviation won and remained at the root of Paola’s career. A Sales and Marketing role with Flightline International allowed Paola to become confident with all arenas of travel: from business to leisure, from making a booking to attaining important commercial agreements.

In 1998 Paola started a new career in training with Chameleon Training a wholly owned British Airways company. In 2003, Paola started working for ‘Plane Training and this venture is still ongoing clocking up over 20 years’ experience in the Travel/Aviation Industry.

Paola is a CAA CIN accredited Aviation Security trainer and holds – in addition to a BSc Hons – a Certificate in Education and Training.
